Manassa — Arabic for the platform, the stage — is a complete front end for a conference, expo or summit. Seventeen pages cover the run-up and the event itself: a home page with a live countdown, a full schedule, session and session-detail pages, a twelve-strong speaker roster with individual profiles, ticket tiers, a gallery, sponsors, an FAQ, a journal with article pages, contact, login and the legal pages. Arabic is the language the markup is written in, so the first paint, a crawler and a visitor with JavaScript disabled all get Arabic; English and German are applied at runtime. The webfonts are self-hosted, so the template renders identically offline and behind a firewall, and there is no framework or build server involved.
